Veteran Rewards
Our sincerest thanks to players who have invested their time with us! We'd like to send some goodies your way. The more you play Star Trek Online, the more we'll give you. Skill point bonuses, titles, costume pieces, character slots... Veterans will be rewarded every 100 days! Rewards will be retroactive, too!

Free Trial Weekend
Our first free trial weekend, called the Welcome Back Weekend, is available to former players. Welcome Back Weekend features unrestricted play and begins Friday, May 7, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific and ends Monday, May 10, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific. Of course, we'll have a pre-load up early next week so everyone can get the client before the free weekend actually starts.

Refer a Friend
We want to help you bring your friends to our game. With our Refer a Friend program, you can earn rewards for introducing your buddies to Star Trek Online. You can earn special items, game time, Cryptic Points and more. The program will start on May 7.

Demo
Unlike the Welcome Back Weekend, the Star Trek Online Demo will be made available for all players starting May 7 and it features gameplay restricted to the first few missions. It's a great way to introduce your friends to the game.

Season One: Update One
Finally, we're also publishing our latest update to the live game! Season One: Update One includes new difficulty options that come with a new injury system for greater challenge. There's also new high-end weaponry and a new auto-fire mode for space combat.

Nice! Like the idea of fireworks for ships ('Endgame', anyone?), and Captain's Yachts (hopefully ship-specific, like the Intrepid aeroshuttle and the Nova 'waverider' shuttle). Here's hoping that at some point, we'll be able to get extra uniform slots as well - I'd love to make room for off duty/duty/dress/fatigue/fleet duds if at all possible, being the fashion-conscious officer that I am!
