Does nobody want to say anything about it's first anniversary or birthday They are talking about it on Trekmovie www.trekmovie.com if you want to leave any thoughts.

Have some great memory,s from watching this film , it was the first film i saw on IMAX HOLY SHIT it was good and it got me hooked on STAR TREK again it was like getting my trekker mojo back !!!!!!:bolian::techman::lol::lol:

It's still a mediocre, hollow shell of a movie that's fun on a big screen but leaves you feeling empty every time you watch it. And the story still sucks.

Weirdly, I happened to watch the movie last night. It doesn't quite seem like a year has gone by.

guess you are one of the film detractors.
Let's just stick to people's impressions of the movie, shall we?

Hard to believe it's been a year. I can remember my wife being able to score tickets for a 7:30pm IMAX show instead of the regular 12:00am show we had tickets on Opening Night. Love that girl.

Unfortunately, the film was mediocre. :(

^Do we have to...?

I celebrated the One Year Anniversary by watching it again on my big screen television with surround sound. It holds up to repeated viewings. It is still a fun Trek movie. The opening scenes on the Kelvin still have an emotional impact.

Not really. And who are you referring to when you say "You?" Perhaps you should say "me," as in yourself.

Lots of action movies leave me feeling this way...this one doesn't. :) I think 8-9 million who bought the discs also feel this way...same with the 40 million ticket buyers..many of whom were trekkers who saw it multiple times. This movie isn't just interesting to watch multiple times, its been just as FUN every time I see it.

RAMA

I know a lot of people who arent ST fans who went to the movie and really enjoyed it. That has to be its greatest legacy. Roll on the next one.

Oh dear. Are you a bit upset by it? Never mind. Millions and millions of people are perfectly happy with it.

Dude, it was a total given that it was his opinion and was a genuine answer to the OP.

I guess we can should start putting IMO at the end of everything we say just in case it upsets you.
