As some of you know since 1999, Big Finish Producitons have been producing a series of monthly full-cast audio dramas of the Classic Doctor Who. They've also licenced more dramas and 'dramatic readings' (one character telling a story, with another actor playing a character) from properties such as Stargate, Dark Shadows and Sapphire & Steel.
I know that Star Trek on audio doesn't have the best track record, but I think the idea has great potential.
Fore example the Dramatic Readings could be done by whoever they can get, and span any time of the Trek universe, presenting perhaps unseen eras of certain characters.
I think the dramas would have a very hard job on a regular basis to reunite whole casts from shows, so why not do 'new series' like Excelsior, Titan, and maybe other ideas as mini-series? Escape from the Federation for a bit and do other peoples like the Klingons and the Mirror Universe?
Would a range of Trek audios work?
