Star Trek on a stick (USB)

It's not really cheaper - I saw the DVD for £5 at Tesco a few weeks ago, and it's currently £6 in HMV.
The stick is a cool novelty item, but can you delete the movie and use it as a normal flash drive? If I want to watch Star Trek on my PC I'd just put the DVD in.
