Has anyone got this game to work on modern hardware? It seems to not like multi-core setups. I have tried compatibility modes, launching it on 1 core and put my CPU under heavy load but nothing seems to work. It always crashes when I launch the campaign with a c++ runtime error abnormal program termination. I even tried the fan patch on trek core.

Even if you could get it to go its unplayable......no mid mission saving, so until you complete a entire mission you have to hope the game runs all the time without crashing once during the mission, which can last a few hours, and only then will it save your progress when you compete the mission........if your lucky as it can also simply not save your game after you complete a mission.
