While I missed the first few minutes, I was able to sit in on the Star Trek Novels Panel at Star Trek Mission New York. I know some of the people on the Panel read this forum so I just wanted to thank them for an interesting, fun Panel. It was good to see for the first time some authors and editors whose work I have read for years.

Yeah, I heard about this Convention way after the fact and while looking for panels online, I noticed that there had been a Book Panel featuring some of our forum regulars. Came here hoping to hear an update and get some more information about what was discussed....
Sorry I didn't respond sooner. To be honest there wasn't much to report as far as news (at least that I saw, I missed the first few minutes) that I can remember. It was more about the history of Trek books. The biggest book news came out in the ST Discovery panel where they revealed Novels and comics for the new series were coming but that was the next day after I posted this. What I found cool was seeing people whose work I had been reading for decades for the first time.
