Hi folks,
Just to let you know that the new issue of Star Trek Magazine may be of interest to everyone on this part of the board, as it's a no holds barred special on Star Trek: Voyager.
Headline items include a very revealing interview with Jeri Ryan - find out what she thought of the Chakotay-Seven romance, and how Seven might cope as a mother; Bob Picardo reminiscing about the different relationships with Kes and Seven; and most revealing of all, producer Bryan Fuller discussing the behind the scenes problems on the show.
We've also given the show our "season by season" approach - a short article about an aspect of each season - with contributions by many Star Trek novelists, and there's an extract from, and discussion of, the new Star Trek: Voyager novel Full Circle, which touches on some of the controversial elements of the literary Voyager saga.
Add in Mike Friedman discussing the genesis of the season 2 story Reunion, a very special look back at Captain Proton including new illustrations by The Trek Life's David Reddick, and a tribute to Majel Roddenberry, and it's a packed issue.
It's on newsstands soon in the US, and should be available by the end of February in the UK.
Also advertised in there is the release of a CD ROM archive of back issues of the UK Star Trek Monthly, which started around the same time as Voyager - there are some fascinating interviews in there conducted during the first three seasons of the show.
