Looking forward to the Sovereign class triumphantly returning in style! (in PIC S2 it was barely visible)

I’m guessing something happened to Boilmer’s brother.

George Takai has been busy with the guest roles lately. First Resident Alien and now Lower Decks. That took me completely by surprise.

This was a much better episode than last week. I was entertained, and it was a worthy sequel to Crisis Point.

I got that Discovery jab as well. Even had one for the JJVerse.
The “even better” line about getting Sulu reminded me of that Simpsons story Conan told about the Monorail episode. Sulu was going to be in it but he didn’t feel it was appropriate with him being on the transport board. Instead he got them Nimoy which Conan said, “that’s better!” :)

Imagine if they did get Shatner. There is no way they would have kept that a secret.

Not bad. Nice to see/hear Takei again. But I expected Shatner.

Was hoping Boimler would see the koala.

His twin recruited to Section 31? Mirrors Riker's helping the Maquis.

It's really nice of him to send so much continuing work to his old friends instead of hogging it for himself, and doing it in a way where he's not taking credit for it too!

I wonder if AGIMUS and Peanut Hamper are going to link up with William Boimler and Rutherford's Section 31 tormenter. That would be quite the villain team up, giving each of our core foursome their own antagonist in the group.

It's funny, from the preview clip of this they showed on Star Trek Day, my immediate assumption wasn't that it was Boimler playing a character on the holodeck. I thought that was the transporter clone, having changed his name and become a captain already.

And I've been dying for them to do something with William Boimler! So that had me all excited. When the episode instead seemed to be about WB being Generations-ed, I spent most of the time watching let down and disappointed.

So now with that ending... I think I just need to watch this one again.

Oddly similar to the original "Crisis Point", which I did not vibe with AT ALL the first time, but have come to adore on rewatch.

Very good episode. I love the idea that Boimler just went off script and followed a random storyline generated from a background NPC. This is how DMs feel.

Love the William Boimler in Section 31 thing.

Also, was I with every beat of that Sulu reveal! :bolian:

When they showed the Kirk mailbox, for a second I was like "they couldn't have..."

When Sulu was revealed, I said OUT LOUD "even better!" before Boimler did.
