Star Trek Litverse bts books

Outside of Voyages of Imagination are there any other behind the scenes books that go behind the thought processes and collaboration of the litverse? I enjoyed what Voyages had to say about what had came out of that time but it was written pretty early before so many books had happened

So far as I know, there aren't any other full-length books. But many authors have talked about their writing online—here, on their personal websites, interviews, etc.

Diane Duane has posts on inventing a Romulan language, writing for Star Trek, and becoming a Star Trek novelist, as well her 2011 interview with StarTrek.com, 2015 Women at Warp interview, and 2026 Dublin Inquirer article/interview.

David Mack has annotations for Harbinger and Reap the Whirlwind, a 2005 TrekToday interview, and a 2012 StarTrek.com interview.

There's a podcast that regularly interviews the authors of the latest Trek books, or at least they used to, but I can't remember the name of it.

Literary Treks or Positively Trek, occasionally Infinite Diversity

I have an essay on similarities between sf and historical fiction in this book, in which I discuss writing Second Self. I also talk about Andor (S1). I'm working on a longer piece which will reflect on writing about Cardassia for over 25 years, but I've only just started on it, and it doesn't have a home yet.
Una, I just tracked down your essay in Writing the Future; the insights into your own practice are interesting, there are a couple good jokes, and as someone obsessed with thinking about genres, I really enjoyed your readings of Rogue One and Andor as historical fiction. Thanks for mentioning it here!

Thanks for taking the time to look it up! I enjoyed writing the piece immensely and I'm glad you liked it. The rest of the book is great too.

The German publisher released a book on the books maybe a decade ago. I have the ebook somewhere.

Oh, I had not heard of this, but I found a blog page about it, with blurbs in German and then English:

"Maximum Warp: Der Guide durch die Star Trek-Romanwelten -- Von Nemesis zum Typhon-Pakt" aka "The Guide through the World of Star Trek Novels -- From Nemesis to the Typhon Pact").

Does Star Trek: Adventures in Time and Space count? It was like a proto-Voyages of Imagination but with more author's opinion, IIRC.

And then there's Trek: The Printed Adventures, which covers lisenced Treklit and fanzines, with an emphasis on the latter and behind the scenes info for them rather than the novels.
