Star Trek Landing Party (custom) Figures

I've said it before, if they won't give us Trekkies the stuff we want... Then we'll have to do it ourselves!

So, I want Hero Squad/Time Squad/Action League style Trek figures, and if they won't make them for me, I'll have to do it myself!

And here we go:
Green Lanterns: Hal Jordan & John Stewart (not the host of the Daily Show *sheesh*)
will become Kirk and Kang

Green Lanterns: Hal Jordan & Kilowog will become Kirk & the Gorn

Green Lanterns: Hal Jordan & Sinestro will become Kirk & Spock (2 versions)

I'm just not sure what to do with Green Lanterns: Tomar-Re & Guy Gardner, I might be able to make GG into Trelane...

Are these just going to be simple repaints or will you be resculpting parts of the figures as well?

Make a pair of wings and Tomar-Re could br a Skorr from TAS.

@ Ziz, I will be doing some resculpting, adding phasers, tricorders and the head of the Gorn. Stuff like that, but mostly repaint.

@ Mysterion, I had thought of that... maybe.

After a couple of failed attempts to sculpt my own phaser and disruptor, I've decided to take a page out of the Mego playbook. I'll give Kirk and Kang, basically the same weapon with a different paint job. Kirk's will be a dark metallic gray, and Kang's an antique gold.

While I wanted a more TOS/Kelvin phaser look (I really don't like the look of the NuPhaser) I'm having a hard time getting there. So I'm going with a NuPhaser look, with a TOS color scheme.

I cut Kirk's hand so it looked more like he was holding the phaser, and while I think I'm going to have to do that with Spock & his tricorder, I think I'm going to leave Kang's fist alone.

Kirk and Spock's uniforms will basically be NuTrek/TOS with Kang's & the Gorn's, TOS.
