It's a good idea but I think most people would be wanting the original. If you are planning to hang on to the actual item I'd suspect most people would want you to shoulder the vast majority of the cost. Others may be up for it though.

Honestly if someone puts a larger chunk, 399 starting bid they could have it. Its not a big deal to me. Most people can't pay 399 to start. The asking price is 1200 so if we can get as many people and get the price to $50 or $80 I think it would be cool. Im just putting it out there to see if there is any people interested like me. :D

Oh, my... I hope Mr. Okuda has changed his phone numbers since 1986!

Interesting, though... a movie-era plaque design for the Enterprise that still mentioned "Starship Class". Did we actually *see* a plaque for Enterprise in TVH, though? I don't recall hearing about it anywhere.

Yes It sold..Because I won it!! :D I just got it, I will post more images soon.

That's awesome, Joe! Looking at the sample pictures in the listing, I was most curious to see the layouts for the Enterprise bridge that Mike Okuda came up with.

I've never seen a photo of an actual plaque, but what seems to be the same graphic was printed in Mr. Scott's Guide as the dedication plaque of the A. Come to think of it, I wouldn't be surprised if a copy of this binder was a big source for that section of the book, since it was mostly reproductions of screen graphics from the set. Not that there was much else to say about the A immediately after TVH came out.

Yeah It looks like the binder was a big source. I have been going over the Movie and Matching all the graphics. There is a page with the Helm/Nav and each other page is larger versions of every section. I am super happy with the book. I get to see the each station looks like. I been a big fan of Star Trek Graphics, so this is a great book. I have the Bird of Prey Blueprints so not I can match up the graphics withe the prints!!! :D

Thanks, I was not sure if the price was good, but I could not let it go. Trust me the Price was very very good. I love trek graphics

Eager to see how the original E-A stuff differs from what was printed in "Mr Scott's Guide to the Enterprise" (do they really say "transwarp"?)

^I'm also really interested in the Ent-A chapter; there've been differing accounts over how much of the bridge actually got repainted and Okudagrammed for the final scene, and hopefully this could help settle it.

Yes, not much if anything is different from the ones in the book, but its only a fraction of the graphics use in the movie. It looks like they redid the whole bridge and not just that small pie section we see in the movie. I am working. I will be making a new set(Copies) for me, so I can write in it. I will put notes where the graphics where seen in the movie. Also I have some photos of graphics from the movie, so I will add that to the new binder.
