Star Trek is no longer playing in a theater near me

That sucks. I was hoping to see again but it's already gone after three weeks! I don't want to blame UP or Drag Me to Hell since I haven't seen them yet. Looks like the slow decline of theaters has started. Anyone else here also have a nearby theater already stop showing the movie?

Nope. Screenings are down and digital projection has left the building, but other than that, plenty of opportunities.

Waiting for the local IMAX to pick it up... if they do, that is.

it is still on three screens at our largest theatre.
actually in several it is on more screens then drag me under.
the majority of screens are now dedicated to night in the museum and up.
up got the digital screens .

Its not at the IMAX anymore, thanks to Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian.

But, other than that, plenty of other options to Star Trek here in Austin.

And, even when the regular theaters stop showin' it, there are discount theaters in Round Rock and San Marcos.

Crap. Looks like it's just my theater that sucks. So glad I saw Star Trek during the second day it was out. :rommie:

Its no longer in the theater in the town where i work. I think UP replaced it. Though there are still a few theaters near where I live that are still playing it, including one that is only $5.00 a ticket (it plays until thursday 6/4)

You could look on the internet for it. It is most likely someone stolen it and up loaded it to one or all online movie sites.

But, if I was you. I wait for the DVD/Blue ray to comes out and just buy it. It should be out on disk in three month to a year.

It went from everywhere to in just one theater where I live, and on just one screen down from two at that location.

It's still on at BFI IMAX, until June 18th :) All of the good seats are booked of course though... 20 min bus/car journey + 20 min train journey + couple of tube stops away from me, so fairly close.

Still playing at both of the big multiplexes here in Morgantown, WV. I imagine it'll be at the Warner downtown in a month or so - Monsters vs. Aliens is at the Warner now, and it's been out, what, two months?
