Star Trek: Invasion (A lone fanfiction timeline).

For the past two years, I've been developing a timeline set in universe following two young Starfleet officers during the events of the Dominion War and afterwards (including an encounter with the Borg in early-2377).
It follows them first on an Excelsior-class starship that participates in Operation Return, Dominion Raid on Coridan, First Battle of Chin'toka, Battle of Ricktor Prime and the Second Battle of Chin'toka when it was destroyed. Then it moves to an Akira-class starship commissioned weeks after the Chin'toka Rout and fights at the Battle of Cardassia. The third part follows them on a Sovereign-class starship (this time joined by their friends and in one of the officer's case, her siblings and cousins) as they face off the Borg aboard their ship.
I'm wondering how people feel about me continuing this and what they'd like to know.

I only really have notes for the Excelsior-class starship crew (the rest have been mislaid I realised this morning) plus the full rundown of what happens on the Sovereign-class starship.

As someone who was overall disappointed in the direction the published novels took with the "Star Trek" universe, I'm all for a new version of the continuation! Even if yours does stuff that makes me go "eh, no," I'd still love there to be more than one option out there, so that at least what's in the novels isn't set in stone.

In any case, I'd love to at least give your fanfic a shot. I don't know if it will be up my alley, but I am always starving to meet a new crew.

I'll see about writing a prologue in the next week or so. The prologue takes place in 2373 during the events of "First Contact" (I may get a bit carried away naming random people who I either think should be on Enterprise-E at the time or just deserve a name anyway).
