Star Trek Intrepid: A Tale of a Fateful Ship - A Star Trek Fan Film

What happened to the all-Vulcan crew of the USS Intrepid? This short Star Trek fan film is inspired by the events of the TOS episode “The Immunity Syndrome.” Created using multiple AI platforms, this atmospheric concept short explores the mystery surrounding the starship Intrepid’s final mission to the Gamma 7A system—where it was lost with all hands.

This was something I always wanted to do and with the technology finally on our door step, I thought I'd give it a try. Below is a link to the short video on my YouTube channel. I invite comments, opinion, criticisms. If you like it, please consider visiting my YouTube channel and up-voting it and leaving your comment there. That will get whatever Ferengi they have running the algorithms a reason to put it out there for more people to see.

In the camera angle on the Captain, we should be seeing the science officer in the background. The characters should be looking towards the person they are speaking to in each cut (eye direction- example at 00:37 the science officer is looking towards the center screen, when she should look to the Captain...also what are her arms doing?). At 00:29 seconds, is that the science officer speaking? because she suddenly has a red uniform.
You might need an establishing shot of the bridge and all the crew to help our brains figure out who is sitting where...
The colours are nice, the voices seem vulcan enough...
Pretty good for a first attempt, but maybe it should be made more clear the Intrepid is headed for complete destruction (Maybe on the last close-up of the Captain, having his stoic expression change to bewilderment?)

So, to address your comments. At the 29 second mark, that is the communications officer. I tried to show and not tell with a lighter exposition (I really don't like heavy exposition). During the captain's log, as he mentions things like communicating with Starbase 6, engineering or science, I used that station with the officer at work. The science and comm officer have very different hair styles as well as department colors. Also, the stations klook very different. It's also why I chose a black Vulcan for the Chief Engineer. Makes it easier to differentiate. The science officer facing the captain is open to interpretation. In the very episode this comes from, when Spock responds to Kirk, he's looking at the view screen, because he's activated the viewer to show what he's found. That said, I did try to have her looking at the captain, but the particular AI model I was using was just not having it. Her hands are behind her back in that traditional stance Vulcans often assume. Also, I couldn't get it to not screw up her insignia badge. In the end, I kinda had to settle. It's also why I didn't do an establishing shot of the bridge. The more characters involved, the greater the chance for something to go sideways. Hence, why I did individual shots of characters from their stations. The tech is pretty amazing, but there are limits. Maybe if I stayed at it, I could have gotten it a bit better, but I think it would still have issues. Thanks for your comments and critiques.
