They're probably just regular people who see the ship on the DVD/Blu-ray sleeve is named the Enterprise and that's enough for them.He doesn't seem bent out of shape.
I wish I could meet some of the people who want to buy the new Star Trek movie but would be confused over the registry being on the ship...they sound like interesting folk to me.![]()
They deleted the hull registry and expanded the name of the ship for non-Trekkies to clearly know (with absolute certainty) it is the Enterprise.
That's going to quite an extreme. It's just the cover of a DVD/Blu-ray, not a crime against humanity. They deleted the hull registry and expanded the name of the ship for non-Trekkies to clearly know (with absolute certainty) it is the Enterprise.
That's like having the stone that the Statue of LIberty is holding say "Statue of Liberty" instead of "July IV M DCCL XXV" so that people who aren't Americans will know (with absolute certainty) it is the Statue of Liberty.
Because many people aren't really Trekkies associate a spaceship named Enterprise with Star Trek, correction, "Star Track."Plus if they're non-Trekkies, why would they care if it is the Enterprise or not? How would they even know what the Enterprise was?
Actually, the words I'm looking for "Does it really hurt anyone?"The word you're looking for is "pointless".
Same here, but it apparently strongly bothers a few.BillJ said:I only see the spine of the case 99.9% of the time. So the cover art doesn't bother me.
