Here is my own Idea for a new Star Trek series. I just got into Star Trek resently, but I'm planning on watching every episode back to back. Here is the central premise:

It is the year 2437, the Federation had just finished it's war with the Borg Collective. During the final battle of the war, “The Battle of Vulcan” a Federation soldier named Joseph K. Mar, fired a phaser shot at the Borg Central Uni-mind, there by granting all of the drones individuality, and successfully destroying the Collective.
Now, using the salvaged Borg technology, Starfleet has created the Federation's first transwarp starship: the Infinity Class. Now Joseph Mar, now a Captain, has obtained access to the first ship in the Infinity Class: the USS Enterprise-G. Mar and his crew, venture off into the unknown. What civilizations will they encounter? What enemies will they meet? Will they make history, or become history?

The Crew of the Enterprise-G:
Joseph Kahless Mar(35)CO-The Klingon-Human captain. A war hero from the Borg Wars, known for successfully destroying the Collective entirely. Coming from a Klingon father and a human mother, Joseph felt like an outcast in both cultures: He was too human to be Klingon, but too Klingon to be human. But he always willing to prove himself, even putting his own life in danger. He spends he free time on the Holodeck training by reenacting famous battles on Earth. He is also a master in over 250 various Martial Arts. Along with a phaser, he carries a custom made sword of his own design called a Cla'tana, a hybrid of a Claymore and a Katana.
Alexander Smith(31)XO-The Human commander. A man who served under Admiral Worf on the Enterprise-F during the War. During the War, he was given a scar on his left eye that blinded him. He has a cynical attitude and always makes a quick remark, but he is loyal and trusts his captain's judgment. He usually seen either at the Bar on the Enterprise or in his Quarters, sending messages to his wife and kids back on Earth.
T'mel(27)Second Officer/Operations Officer/Science Officer-The Vulcan lieutenant commander. Thou a being of logic, she believes that some things in the universe cannot be explained through logic alone. Beautiful, intelligent, and resourceful, T'mel is one of the most feared crew member of the Enterprise, next to the Captain. She enjoys listening to Earth music, her favorite being Classic Rock and Blues. There is some romantic tension between her and the Captain.
K'laya Mar(26)Chief Engineer-The Klingon-Human lieutenant commander. The Captain's younger sister. She joined Starfleet in order to help her brother during the War. She quickly rose through the ranks and became one of the greatest engineers Starfleet had ever seen, second only to Captain Montgomery”Scotty”Scott. She is extremely fascinated by Klingon culture, unlike her brother.
Donna Collins(22)Tactical and Security Officer-The Orion-Human lieutenant junior grade. Fresh out of the Academy, Donna wishes to prove herself by exploring the uncharted frontier they are starting to enter. She is extremely gifted in battle tactics and weapons combat. She usually spends her time with the ship's Betazoid councilor, Dawn Tio.
Spike(Unknown)Chief Medical Officer-The Cyborg lieutenant commander. Created by Dr. James Landers, after reading notes left behind by Dr. Soong. Spike is so sophisticated, he is almost identical to a human. He has programed the anatomy of over 1,000 known species into his neural net.
Dawn Tio(25)Councilor-The Betazoid lieutenant. She was known to have one of the highest recorded mental abilities in Betazoid history. She likes to spend most of her time with her girlfriend, Donna Collins.
John Wright(20)Helmsman-The Human Ensign. The top in his class. He has a cocky attitude that focuses only on himself. He questions the actions of everyone, even the Captain.

Ziclonian Empire-A powerful force in the Alpha Quadrant of the Andromeda Galaxy. Ruled by a race of symbionts that pose as Gods to many different races. They possess telekinesis and other psychic powers.
Za'rick-One of the Ziclonian's most powerful leaders and the first enemy the Enterprise faces. He admires Captain Mar for his battle skills and leadership and sees him as his destined opponent.
The Eternals-A race of non-corporal beings that exist in a place known as the Sanctuary. They are the closest things to the universe as actual gods, capable of overpowering a Q. They are the first race that the Enterprise comes in contact with after entering the Andromeda Galaxy. They are waiting for the Guardian, a powerful warrior that will play a key role in the final battle between good and evil.
President Spock- A Vulcan-Human hybrid who is the highest authority in the United Federation of Planets. He is the last surviving member of the original Enterprise. Mar reports to Spock via holo-messaging.
