Star Trek Imax coming to Royal B.C. Museum's Imax (Victoria B.C.)

Hi eveyone. Ive been talking to someone at the Royal B.C. Museum today. They said that they are hoping to get the Imax version of the movie somtime in June or July(after its intial first run in some of the bigger Imax theaters). Ive posted an update on another post about Star Trek Imax coming to Vancouver. Appologies if this is considered double posting.Im new to the site. Hope this helps people living in the B.C. lower mainland ,Vancouver Island and the Pacific Northwest.

I was wondering about that myself. They eventually ran Transformers, though well after the initial run and I'm vaguely hopeful they'll eventually run ST. Hope springs eternal. Thanks for the post!

That is good news. I can`t believe that there are no IMAX showings in Vancouver, either; apparently there are 4 Imax theaters there.

Victoria is my hometown. I feel very lucky where I live now that I can just go up to the Imax theatre 15 minutes away and watch it there

That is indeed great news.

I'm lucky that there are two IMAX studio's within 15 miles of my hometown.

I think I'll see an IMAX showing during my 2nd viewing.

So. It's totally worth the high price ($16.95 in my neck of the woods)?

It's odd that Vancouver wouldn't get it in IMAX this Friday.

I'm in Taiwan and we get it in IMAX opening day.
