Star Trek Generations 2?

If Star Trek XI is hugely successful and knowing the cast is signed up for two more films, do you think Trek fans might get the Generations film people wanted to see? Kirk's Enterprise, with Picard's enterprise fighting an enemy together

I think another time travel movie would be pretty unlikely. Besides, there's plenty of material to work with in the TOS universe as it is.

That would be nice, but as Alrik said, porabably unlikely.

Both Patrick Stewart and Jonathan Frakes have expressed interest in doing another Star Trek film. I don't know what Stewart's salary requirements are lately, but that will probably kill such an idea of having a crossover movie.

I presume that one of the reasons why they went with relatively unknowns in Star Trek XI was because they are cheaper to hire.

Write it up & submit it. See who reads it & see if anyone from Paramount-Viacom calls you up to purchase the rights.

Serious comments like this remind me of the guy a few years back who was completely convinced that he had contacts in Paramount that were going to get his ultimate crossover Trek film made. People tried to reason with him on where his logic faltered (on several boards), but he refused to give into reality.

In short, Paramount won't take scripts from fans on the internet. No way; no how. It is not the way the business works and it is definitely not the way big franchise business works.

With a recast TNG crew? Because they are too old now, much less whenever this might happen. I'm not sure the TNG characters are worth bothering to recast - why not just invent a new bunch of 24th C characters?

I hope nobody seriously envisions putting the TNG cast through the embarrassment of sharing the screen with TOS characters who look young enough to be their grandkids. Let TNG go with dignity. Okay after Nemeshit, it's too late, how about as much dignity as they have left?

I'd personally rather see Kirk and Picard fighting each other.

Yeah, I know. 1990 called; they want their meme back. I still think KvP would be cool.

Captain Morgan Bateson, (in very temporary command of the Enterprise-E,) with Chief Engineer Geordi LaForge, X.O. Worf, Chief Medical Officer Katherine Pulaski. In addition to Pulaski's on-again/off-again beau Kyle Riker & set a few months after NEMESIS. Fill in the rest of the plot here. Maybe they go after a lead about the loss of the USS Hera or an Ancient Progenitor mystery (or maybe a tie-in with Picard's archeological mission in the book "Ice Age")?

i've got 2 ideas maybe a voyager and tng team up sort film or perhas a kirk/ archer team up

Yeah, I'd say there's a better chance of Jeb Bush getting elected POTUS than there is of TNG being revisited.

:guffaw:

What is up with you and Morgan Bateson? I gotta know...
