I'm so glad they have that outtake between Pegg and Quinto. I saw an interview where Quinto mentioned Pegg throwing that line in and making him crack up, and I was hoping desperately to see it on the reel.
I really liked the way Pine did the opening narration. It's funny you don't care for it, Randi, because I'm not generally a huge fan of his! He sounds rather different than he usually does. He puts a lot of gravity into it that I wouldn't expect from him.

I know! I mean, seriously, the man could cut his toenails and i'd be all over him. I don't know...his delivery of the lines just didn't do it for me. Maybe it was a little too deadpan for me?

I wonder if they were planing to use the Pine speech at some point in the film instead of Spock Prime's speech...hmmm
I was wondering that as well, and hoping he did it just for the gag reel. I WANT him to do it for the next movie, but i would like to hear a little more conviction in his voice.

Thing is, I would like people to talk about the 'A New Vision' documentry but I don't want to get in trouble publicly post it. My freind in Russia (where it is publicly out) sent the DVD to me 
If someone else wants to post it (not the movie just the documentary and the Gag Reel) on some obscure video site (maybe in russia LOL) so other can see it, let me know.

Some of the pieces were hilarious. Quinto has such a cute giggle. Too much "mike". Not enough Urban and Greenwood.

He really does. I love how his voice goes up a couple of octives when he keeps making mistakes. He is too frackin adorable for words!
