Star Trek Fractured Universe

I must admit a certain ambition trying to breathe life into what I have perceived of as a half-hearted attempt on the part of CBS to bring back a Star Trek television series. This script is in my truly humble opinion crazy good, drawing upon the past episodes of Trek from several eras to produce a story line in the current (JJ Abrams) Trek universe.
As many here are already lined up to tell you, I am not a paid writer or producer or director or casting agent... just a fan. A fan who for the last 11 years waited for the "professionals" and the "experts" to wise up to the fact that Star Trek (like Rock and Roll) will never die. And though their heart may not be in it, there will always be a market for the networks / movie studios because there will always be a new (and old) fan base.
Some things the next generation of network executives cannot dismiss relegating them to their parent's or grandparent's generation...
We can only try.
And I ask that rather than being stumbling blocks for each other here, that the powers that be (here) give these ideas a chance. Or we can just continue going toe-to-toe arguing away precious times while our beloved Trek sinks under the waves for what might be the last time.

The new Star Trek Beyond trailer did shake my confidence in the Star trek Fractured Universe script a bit from a similar plot in the story. The JJ Abrams Enterprise gets destroyed and the surviving crew commandeers another older starship that has been decommissioned and is about to be disassembled for scrap. In fact the weapons system is already gone with a few subsystems. Thus newer / updated ones are installed as the rush is on to get back into the fight of the most recent threat to peace and safety in the United Federation of Planets.
The older ship is a Koerner class version of the Enterprise. Note the more modern NCC 1701.1 rather than NCC 1701A hull designation:

There are some here who will recall I suggested this story line before the 2009 movie hit the theaters on the old Star Trek CBS message boards. Apparently someone was watching. Not that I am the least bit concerned about plagiarism or cashing in on royalties. As TwoTakesFrakes said way back then and there on that message board, what I disclosed on that board CBS maintained the right to claim and use as it saw fit. He was right. And again, I am not pitching a bitch about it. I am only pointing out that my script is not stealing from their 2016 movie script.
The basic plot is in addition to Nero and the Narada, Spock Prime's presence in the reboot timeline obviously contributed to the distorted outcomes of historic events.
The crew is rescued by a passing freighter and taken to a nearby shipyard where the Yorktown is being decommissioned as the alerted fleet engages the drone at Rigel. It is soundly defeated. The few ships that escape fall back to rendezvous with all remaining fleet starships everywhere at Wolf 359.
- George Kirk did not die until long after Kirk was Captain of the Enterprise
- Spock did not command Enterprise until ST II
- Captain Pike did not go to Talos IV nor was debilitated from an explosion on a J class ship
- Vulcan was not destroyed
- Khan was not turned into a Brit (LOL) or revived to build the Vengeance etc

Kirk and Spock learn from (now) MACO Captain Sulu about the detriment of this timeline by the ongoing presence of Spock Prime from Spock Prime, Commander Scott, Dr. Marcus, and the mysterious Dr. K'Waag on a super secret stealth base jokingly dubbed "Area 51."
So the career threatening dilemma for Kirk is whether or not to join the remaining fleet to combat the Doomsday drone or to go to Area 51 pick up Spock Prime and return him to his own timeline (which if all are correct will correct the timeline).
