Star Trek Food

Romulan Ale is a must. Nothing like a little blue alcohol to get the party started. I know they had "Romulan ale" in the Star Trek Experience, but I'm not sure if that is available anymore. I think there are some recipes online though.

The Romulan Ale at the experience was just crap lager with food colouring. If you're going to do Romulan Ale is should be done properly - whiskey and food colouring!

Here are some suggestions:

Weeeelllll, I'll show my uber-geek credentials.

Back in 1979, I found the Official Star Trek Cooking Manual.

Written by someone called Mary Ann Piccard (nearly a decade before TNG, I add), it has a range of recipes, soups, breads, main meals, chicken, vegetarian, desserts, you name it, though not a lot of party nibbles. They are attributed to various characters or species (Kirks's Chicken Sandwich is listed). I've tried some of them, and actually impressed my then girlfriend - yes, Trek helped me get laid and married, probably in that order.

My favourite is a sauce you put on steak before you fry it, made of butter, pasprika, mustard, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Yum!

So if you let me know if there's something specific you're looking for, like Vulcan dishes.

^I just noticed your AV, ToddKent: luv it! -especially the three last words along the dotted line :guffaw: :guffaw: :guffaw:

Since it's a Halloween party you should not forget salt, lots of salt, in case a salt-sucking monster turns up!!!
