Hello!
Have any of you played Fleet Captains? (For those who haven't heard of it, it's a strategic game played with cards and ship models, not a video game.)
I have it and have played it five times now, three as the Feds and twice as Klingons, both against the same other player. In every game the Federation won, and it's usually not close.
Five games played is hardly a basis for judgement, I'm not about to house rule stuff, but it does seem as there may be a trend towards the Federation being much easier to meet the victory conditions.
It's a brilliant game in most every respect, and an expansion to include Romulans is due out in October 2012, but it's starting to feel a little unbalanced.
Have any of you played this? If so, have you noticed this as unbalanced? Any ideas on strategies for using Klingons and actually winning?
