Star Trek Farragut/Continues 360° Bridge

I subscribed to Greg Greene's YouTube channel and got a notification that he uploaded a new video.

It looks like they are in the process of completing a 360° bridge but when I went to watch the video again, it's now labeled as private and won't play.

Can any of the ST:Farragut/ST:Continues guys find out why we can no longer see the video? I like watching behind the scenes stuff like this.

What's strange is I thought that they had a viewscreen in some of their episodes. The new construction would indicate that they don't have one, or maybe it was temporarily moved out of the way?

I believe that it was a CGI element added in post.

It's a testament to the creativity of the DPs (not to mention the storytelling) that the lack of a complete bridge really hasn't been much of a hinderance. I would almost rather that they had invested the money in building an engineering set--unless I'm mistaken no semi-pro Trek production has a full-scale engineering section. (Starship Exeter had their fantastic miniature, and AFAIK that's as close as anyone's ever gotten.)

A full 360 degree bridge will allow for some interesting new camera angles, though, and it's arguably the most-used set in any given Star Trek episode. I look forward to seeing what Farragut and Continues do with their enhanced set.

And according to Michael Bender on Facebook, the bridge set will be wild like the original. That means they'll be able to remove sections so they can get a variety of angles and shots.

I believe Phase II either already has or is currently building a complete TOS engineering set. That was part of the reason for their move to the new, larger studio.

TOS rarely had the whole bridge buttoned up, so if you have the space to move the pie wedges around, you rarely need a full bridge. Exeter's bridge was wide open but sections could be moved around as needed.

If the rumors are accurate, they're building a Phase II engineering set, which of course looked nothing like Scotty's TOS engineering room.
