Star Trek Fan Created Videos (moved to Fan Productions)

I don't know if you would consider these as art but I think they are masterpieces. I may be a little biased as I know the guy who created these videos very, very well.

Here is a couple videos I created for a ship I used to command.

Here is another one I created for another Star Trek RPG ran by a friend who liked my work.

What do you all think? Should I quit my day job?:) Or should I give up the video making business?:(

Re: Star Trek Fan Created Videos

So, what part of the videos did you do? the editing? music arrangement? Since based on the credits it says all of the ship footage was taken from Bridge Commander, I am not sure what we are judging here.

Re: Star Trek Fan Created Videos

I use ST: BC alot because with it I could put a ship in all sorts of well, calamities or situations. With ST: BC and all the mods created by the BC community, the skies the limit. I can modify the registries of the Federation ships to have the actual ships in the video. If I need a video of the Sovereign Class, USS Independence, I could use a ship with the Independence registry and have it in the video. I do not have to use Enterprise-E footage from the movies which quite frankly has been done to death. Not to mention all the Dominion War footage from the DS9 episodes. With ST: BC, I can create and record my own little scenes. Then I arrange them accordingly using Windows Movie Maker and BAM, an original Star Trek video or as close as I can get any way.

So, I guess you could judge on originality, context or if it has a nice beat that you can dance to.:) Does it make you want to see more or does it make you want to go take a nap or hide your head in shame? Does it make you say, "They really put this crap on Youtube?" or I can't wait to see the next one when it comes out. I have a fragile ego, so be kind with your criticism. j/k, your honest opinion would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you ol' great Moderator for moving this here. I apologize for putting it in the wrong place.
