Star Trek Experience - best place to get tickets

I'll be going to Lost Wages in a couple of weeks. Where is the best place to get tickets online to the ST Experience, or shoulk I wait till I get there?

Sadly, I believe that the Experience is already closed.

EDIT: Damn, never mind. It closes on September 1st, not August 1st.

I like your Prius.

Here's what you do:

When you get to the LV Hilton, go to the front desk. On the far end of the front desk (to your right as you face it) you will find little pamphlets for the Hilton Honors club. One of the pamphlets describes the program, the other contains the application for the program. You want the application one.

Take the application pamphlet and tear out the little gray temporary Hilton Honors card with a number on it. Show that at the Star Trek The Experience ticket desk and you will get your ticket for $20 as opposed to the (nearly) $50 it usually costs.

Of course, it's possible that in the final weeks STTE will drop the various discount programs available since they'll basically have a captive audience and very little time left to make money, but this worked for me three days ago.

Other ways to save on STTE include showing your LV Hilton room key (if you're staying there) for a $10 discount, or showing your AAA card (not sure how much of a discount you get for that one).

Of course, the noble thing to do would be to pay full price and thank them for the privilege. The place won't be there much longer and the actors and staff work hard and deserve our love, gratitude, kudos and, of course, money.

^There's nothing "noble" about throwing more money at Hilton Hotels or Paramount Parks, which are massive, million (or billion) dollar corporations.

The hard-working actors and staff won't receive any extra cents from the price gouging at ST: The Experience.

Go, enjoy yourself, but do it as cheaply as you can.

I'll be there in a week, something to keep in mind!

I'm going back one last time on 8/31 and 9/1 for a final visit and the closing ceremony. Likely the last time I'll visit Las Vegas, and certainly the last time I'll visit the Las Vegas Hilton.
