Star Trek episodes featuring farmers in outer space...

I am doing some research and need help. I seem to remember from my years of watching ST that there was a kind of fascination with agrarian farmer types on other planets, and all of them wore this style of dress that I think of as "Space Rags" which seemed to involve beautiful woven clothing, hemp tunics, great leather boots, often asymmetrical jackets in rough cotton, that kind of thing - I'm sure most people know what I'm talking about. I need images of this style of back-to-the-land spacewear. But I can't remember any of the episodes in which this appears. Can anyone help me? Or tell me where to find photos? Thank you in advance!

Hmmm episodes which come immediately to mind that might apply are "This Side of Paradise" (TOS), "The Ensigns of Command" (TNG), "Children of Time" (DS9) and "Paradise" (DS9). The description of the clothes you mention also remind me of the Mintakans in "Who Watches the Watchers".

What about that DS9 episode where Kira has to go to one of the Bajor's moons to talk with some man. I vaguely remember the episode but he seemed like some kind of farmer.

I think the Voyager episode "Child's Play" and the movie "Insurrection" both had agrarian-types.

Wasn't there a TNG episode where there were a bunch of agrarian-types in the shuttle bay? Or was that an old episode of BSG.... I know it remember something like that. Oh well, my first suggestions should help out.

You're thinking of "Up the Long Ladder" which was indeed a TNG episode.
