Star Trek DVD Release Party in Illinois, Orlando

Hi Everybody,

Blockbuster is hosting a Release Party for the Star Trek DVD this Monday (November 16th) in both Gurnee, Illinois and Orlando, Florida. These are free events, and we are encouraging fans of the series/films to show up. We will be giving away ten copies of the New DVD, and provide free snacks.

Too bad my local Blockbuster just closed! How fun would that have been? Although i suspect there aren't that many loonies like me in this town!

Wow, I love Gurnee, and it sounds like a great event; but Chicagoland is big. Google maps says it's 70 miles and an hour and a half away. If it were in the west burbs (like Naperville), I would probably go.

P.S. My husband just told me he heard on WLUP (Chicago classic rock station) on the way home last night, they were talking about some big Star Trek party and giving away stuff. So it's sounding like a big deal. Maybe a day trip is in order after all.
