Hello, I'm new here. I purchased the old Star Trek Ds9 Dominion Wars game but I have a Modern PC. I've installed it on my laptop with Windows 10 pro. the game installs however, I get an error Message saying " Files not Found: E\rs\bolts\ds9media.blt." is there a way to fix this? any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

no I've set it to run in compatibility mode and run with windows XP/ME, but I still get that Error message about DS9media.
Now when I try to run the game its telling me CD not found insert CD, when I already have the CD inserted.

Have a read of this thread. A few years back, I merged all the ‘how do I install this game’ on Windows 7. There is another thread for Vista.
