might wanna think about changing the name. it's been used AT LEAST once already.

Yeah, I was thinking of doing that long term, but the snafu lies in picking a name that hasn't been done to death. Maybe something like the U.S.S. Israel or U.S.S. Damascus, U.S.S. Exeter-B, or U.S.S. Geneva. Suggestions welcome. For now, it was just posted to get feedback on the whole thing.
