News Star Trek Discovery: Drastic Measures Book Review

Seriously, dude? It's about 90% TOS. Open your mind.

So I'm someone that is lukewarm on Discovery and really disliked the David Mack novel, is the Ward book good enough to still hook someone that feels that way?

^ Thank you. Me about 100 years ago. I realized in mid-January that my Xmas av was still up and grabbed the first thing in my album file that I saw and replaced it. I miss those days...

Yes. I really feels more TOS than DISC. You got Lorca (Prime Universe Lorca) and a bit of Georgiou (she was rather bland), but the story focuses on what happened when Kodos made his fateful decision and the aftereffects. After reading the book, I pulled the transcript for Conscience of the King. Ward did his homework and even put something in there for sharp-eyed readers.
