In english: [I can't spur myself to action. The only thing motivating me is ambition, which makes people rush ahead of themselves toward disaster.]

"Burnham heads to the ISS Charon with a special 'gift' for the Emperor. With the help of an unexpected source, Stamets gains clarity while trapped inside the mycelial network. Saru asks for L’Rell’s help." - TrekSpace

Here’s hoping we get good views on the ISS Charon. I can’t make head or tails of it from the pictures we’ve seen.

You lucky Americans get to watch it in a few hours, I can't wait until tomorrow!
How about waiting until tomorrow but avoiding all the Internets until a long shift at work. Last time, I failed miserably and knew every twist by noon. :wah:

A picture of ISS Discovery's plaque from the writer. The Motto appears to be the same as Prime Discovery's, only in Latin. It also says Tranquility Base instead of San Francisco Fleetyards

Best picture I can find of the Prime DSC's for comparison.

So, does this mean we get to see the actual ISS Disco, or that they just went to great pains to disguise the ship?

We saw several scenes of the Discovery crew reconfiguring the inside AND outside of the ship, just in case any real Imperial personnel happened to stumble across it. I'm sure the dedication plaque was just one more example of this.

From 'The Book of Imaginary Beings' by Jorge Luis Borges:

"...myth that goes back to the legendary times of the Yellow Emperor.

In those days the world of mirrors and the world of men were not, as they are now, cut off from each other. They were, besides, quite different; neither beings nor colours nor shapes were the same. Both kingdoms, the specular and the human, lived in harmony; you could come and go through mirrors. One night the mirror people invaded the earth. Their power was great, but at the end of bloody warfare the magic arts of the Yellow Emperor prevailed. He repulsed the invaders, imprisoned them in their mirrors, and forced on them the task of repeating, as though in a kind of dream, all the actions of men. He stripped them of their power and of their forms and reduced them to mere slavish reflections. Nonetheless, a day will come when the magic spell will be shaken off.

The first to awaken will be the Fish. Deep in the mirror we will perceive a very faint line and the colour of this line will be like no other colour. Later on, other shapes will begin to stir. Little by little they will differ from us; little by little they will not imitate us. They will break through the barriers of glass or metal and this time will not be defeated. Side by side with these mirror creatures, the creatures of water will join the battle.

In Yunnan they do not speak of the Fish but of the Tiger of the Mirror.

Others believe that in advance of the invasion we will hear from the depths of mirrors the clatter of weapons... "

Can't wait to see the full profile of this "palace" ship. Evil Cruise ship.

Also, why does Tranquility Base sound familiar?
