For me, Stamets moved up from "interesting character" to "fucking awesome" this week.

He did. Culber has been working to make the interfacing process less painful, since Stamets continues to insist on using himself as the central component to the spore drive.Stamets did progress character wise but it's like he's not himself. You know like when Tuvok had a brain injury. I'm not sure if the 'progress' is going to be the way he will always be.. maybe. Did I imagine he showed some kind 'conduit' thing on his arm?
If only we could have heard awkward "Amok Time Fight Music" play as Cornwell and Lorca went fade to black. If I recall correctly, Lorca and Cornwell were listening to smooth jazz while they were drinking in his quarters. Seemed appropriate.
Lorca death montage.
Yeah, because TNG NEVER did anything like that....oh, wait:The party was kind of wrong era feel about it. Honestly this whole timeline ten years before TOS is being terribly messed up in its depiction. It's way too advanced at times that throwing the odd word like 'groovy' in is not cutting it.
TROI: It's just a feeling that he's, well, that he's closed part of his mind to me. I just feel that the Captain has become, perhaps dangerous.
RIKER: If he's dangerous. If.
LAFORGE: Then he'd have to be relieved of command. Which you could do, Doctor, but it's beaucoup trouble if you're wrong.
I took it as a retro frat-style party. Something to blow off steam for a crew that's been stressed for a while. Don't try to read more into it than what it is.Hearing 20th century style club music in the 23rd century Trek world made me cringe. I may sound like an old fogie saying that but whatever.
The title comes directly from Homer's Iliad, a renowned work of classical literature.Ok, BEFORE to see the episode, who is put those funny (maybe even ridiculous) names to episodes???
will be next "Cold hearts as a shower waters", "Pizzas is better cold served at nights", or.. "A better future for boldly bald men"... kind of things???
I prefer his work on the SimpsonsThe title comes directly from Homer's Iliad, a renowned work of classical literature.
Kor
Also you sound like a pretty miserable person.
I use, TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY, STE, STD.
DSC is the worst of any option, just use DISCO if you can't stop giggling at STD
No one running the show has made that supposition.Klingons losing the war despite it suppose to be going on for 4 years. I expect the Klingons will make a comeback.
This ain't FASA, especially not Axanar. The war doesn't have to last four years. :PKlingons losing the war despite it suppose to be going on for 4 years. I expect the Klingons will make a comeback.
Maybe "DISCO" parties are the thing on Discovery.I took it as a retro frat-style party. Something to blow off steam for a crew that's been stressed for a while. Don't try to read more into it than what it is.
How do you pronounce TNG?It's either STD, Discovery or maybe I'll let a Disco slide here or there, but not a DSC. How do you pronounce that, DISQUE or DEE ASS SEE? It's the worst abbreviation in the history of Star Trek.
