Star Trek Deep Space Nine Coins

I was looking at my copy of Canadian Coins News this morning that I received on Tuesday (I believe it's the July 19 to July 31, 2015 edition), and I noticed that in their section on World Coins, the Perth Mint in Australia is set to release 2 coins featuring Deep Space Nine (and CCN even had photos of the coins in the paper, although, right now, the Perth MInt website does not have the coins listed). One will feature the station (both coins will have an effigy of Queen Elizabeth the Second on the front of the coins), while the other will feature Captain Benjamin Sisko (in Seasons 4-7 appearance).

These 2 coins are only 2 in a set of 10 that the Perth Mint is producing, with 2 coins for each Trek featuring the Captain and the ship/station.

Pretty Cool! things are sadly sold out of the TNG Ones, will keep an eye out for the DS9 ones. Thanks for the info!

They're only minting like 7,000 of each coin, with 1,500 going into the 2-pack sets.

$80 for $15 worth of silver and a fairly average picture on the coin? I guess I'm not the right kind of collector for them.
