Star Trek Convetion Dates?

Longtime reader, first time poster.

So I just watched Trekkies 2 for the first time and it really got me wanting to go to a convention as I've never been to one, I looked online at Creation's website and the closest one to me is in Vancouver, B.C....A year from now.

So I figure there must be some smaller conventions. There really can't just be two a year, nationwide. Is there a website that lists them? I've searched Google and this forum to no avail.

After what happened last year be very careful about paying for a convention in advance. Make sure you are dealing with a well established company that has been doing conventions for a while.

I like to know when will Creation update thier site for the Vegas Convetion, so I can start making plans for next year. I also like to know if there will be a convetion next year in Tulsa,Ok. I missed that one this year, but made up for the better one in Vegas this year, so I wasnt dissapointed. Anyways I still want to know how soon on both convetion sites how soon they will update? I really had fun this year at the convetion and want to go again. Thats why I was curious.

A lot of conventions folded and a lot of fans lost the money they spent on tickets and travel. The one in Texas closed the day it started because the hotel never got paid. You can probably find plenty of threads here about the entire fiasco.
