Ok, I'm a somewhat fan of Star Trek. Love Next Generation and it's movies, watched all the original crew movies and enjoyed Deep Space Nine. I never really got to watch Voyager and Enterprise was ok in the last season. So, based on that, what Star Trek comics can you guys and gals recommend? It doesn't have to be IDW either, I'm willing to hunt up some older stuff if I can find a good price. Also, where can I find a good Star Trek timeline that lists all of the episodes, movies, books, comics and other sources in a reading/viewing order?

Find yourself a copy of the Star Trek comics CD-Rom that came out late last year. It has pretty-much everything published up to 2005 or so, IIRC. That's the Gold Key TOS comics, the Marvel stuff, the DC stuff, the Malibu stuff.
Beyond that, more recently IDW had been publishing some terrific ST comics that shouldn't be missed to include material by DC Fontana, John Byrne, and KRAD among others.
I agree with the recommendation of the DVD for everything not published by IDW or TokyoPop.
As for the recent IDW comics, you can't go wrong with Alien Spotlight (and not just 'cause I wrote one of them
), Blood Will Tell, Assignment: Earth, Intelligence Gathering, and The Last Generation.
