Star Trek Comic #3 Delayed

I went down to my local WH Smiths today to pick up the latest issue of the comic, scheduled to be on the shelves on 2 July, only to discover that it has apparently been delayed until 17 July, according to the store's computer system.

Titan is publishing a magazine series that reprints IDW comics, starting with Countdown. There's also some added material such as articles, games and puzzles; the magazine is aimed at younger readers. TrekMovie did an item about it recently:

I went down to my local WH Smiths today to pick up the latest issue of the comic, scheduled to be on the shelves on 2 July, only to discover that it has apparently been delayed until 17 July, according to the store's computer system.

The two items that came in this week are (1) the finale of the adaptation of The Wrath of Khan, (2) an omnibus collection of Marvel's Early Voyages series, which focused on Pike and Number One; and (3) There is a brand new issue from Titan of the Star Trek magazine. It features Chris Pine on the cover, and all of them are (in my humble opinion) worth buying to read over the July 4 holiday.

What can I say? I think IDW is doing very, very well with Star Trek.
