Star Trek books on Rick Berman's shelf

To the right of the green one, there's a tall book with a TNG logo and the second author's name is two initials and one name. With some research I narrowed it down to the TNG Sketchbook by John Eaves & J.M. Dillard. :vulcan:

^Looks cool, and I still have $50 worth of gift cards on my Amazon account, for a mere $7 used, I MUST have it.

Thanks.

What makes you think he spent money on any Trek books? He most likely got them all for free.

When was that video footage originally recorded?

You're probably right about his having been "comped" every single one of those titles. What matters is the fact that he's held onto the books in question.

Perhaps the bookshelf isn't Berman's... or perhaps the bookshelf, regardless of its owner, was dressed specifically for the video shoot. It happens.

Dude, the guy spent his LIFE with Star Trek. In 28 years he produced 90% of the entire franchise. Just sayin'.

Come on! This is Rick "The Devil" Berman. One of the two horsmen of the Trekalypse!!!! He hasn't even seen the Trek he wrote and produced!!!!! ;)

It's clear from this interview, and from the recently leaked writing of Insurrection book, that Berman loves Trek, has a great knowledge of Trek, and tried his best to shepherd Trek when it was under his purview. We didn't always agree with his decisions, we didn't always agree with his philosophy on Trek. Whether we did or didn't does not change the fact, and it is a fact, that outside of Gene Roddenberry, Berman is the person most responsible for the majority of televised Star Trek, and good portion of filmed Trek. Question his decisions, but don't question his dedication to Trek.

^Agreed. His heart was in the right place, but the execution was off.

Also, got the TNG Sketchbook in the mail today. Excellent book. It has all sorts of Enterprise-E trivia in it.
