The issue isn't with the image itself, but rather where the image is hosted, in his case, Amazon.

Is it okay to link pictures from sites like photo bucket?

Yes, it's okay to link to sites that offer hosting pictures or sites that you own. The issue is in regards to bandwidth.

Q. Why are there so few TOS books this year? Why are there so few TNG books this year? Why are there so few DS9, VGR, ENT, NF, CHA, SGZ, GKN, TTN, VGD, &c. books this year? Does Pocket hate me and want to destroy my favorite series?
A. No. As said before, Pocket tries its best to create a balanced approach, however this balance is achieved over several years, not within each year, to give them more freedom. Hence, 2006 was TOS-heavy, thanks to the 40th anniversary, and 2007 was TNG-heavy, thanks to its 20th anniversary, and so on. The reduction to one mass-market-paperback book a month also means that there a limited number of slots in any given year, so your favorite series might show up less often from now on.

During the last five years (Jan 2003 - Dec 2007), the series distributions broke down thusly (thanks to Keith DeCandido):

-- Cross-series: 18%
-- classic Star Trek: 16%
-- The Next Generation: 16%
-- Deep Space Nine: 10%
-- Voyager: 8%
-- Corps of Engineers: 8%
-- Enterprise: 7%
-- New Frontier: 5%
-- Stargazer: 4%
-- Titan: 4%
-- I.K.S. Gorkon: 3%
-- Vanguard: 3%

I figured I'd update this for no good reason.............

Here's the breakdown for January 2004 - December 2008:

It's on a list of things I meant to do but didn't. This is unsurprisinly a long list, but this one at least won't get me in trouble with my girlfriend.

If someone else wants to work on it, I'd be happy to pass it along, because it's not likely to happen at this rate.

I have two serious questions:

1. (From Warpath) How many incarnations of Kira Nerys are there?
Answer: There are 3 - Kira Nerys (this universe), Intendant Kira Nerys (Mirror Universe), and Illiana Ghemor posing as Kira Nerys (this universe) There is another Illiana Ghemor from the Mirror Universe, but she was never surgically posed as Kira. She's the one who tells Vaughn and Prynn about the mystery surrounding the multiple Kiras.

2. (From Kobayashi Maru) What's the fate of the Columbia?
Answer: The Columbia survives at least for another year, as in the opening chapters of Destiny - Gods of Night, the ship's ambushed by Romulans again in 2156. Kobayashi Maru takes place in 2155. The ship itself survives as a wrecked ship that was stranded on a world in the Gamma Quadrant.

Now my screwball question, in honor of the Articles of the Federation question:

Do I have to read Articles of The Federation before reading Star Trek: Destiny?

I think that when people ask "What do I have to read before reading this Trek novel?" we should begin telling them that they have to read A Tale of Two Cities or Ivanhoe or Don Quixote or Journey to the West or something. Trick people into broadening their literary horizons.

When people start asking "What do I need to read before A Singular Destiny" KRAD needs to start talking up how the hero of the book is actually a descendant of someone who had a walk on in CSI: Four Walls or something of that nature.

I disagree with these two questions being on the FAQ, because the answers seem to be teetering on the edge of being spoilerish IMO.

^ I just remember that when Warpath came out, there was all the confusion about who was who, and just how many Kiras were running around, and thought, With enough coaxing, this could make that Trek FAQ....maybe the Kobayashi Maru question might be inappropriate, but at least that way, people could understand that the cliffhanger of KM regarding Columbia is not specifically resolved in Gods of Night; just that they did survive...I'm thinking we'll see that specific resolution in The Romulan War.

I just thought I'd contribute something. Take it as you will.

A third MyrU volume is already on the schedule for November '09. And IDW Comics will be publishing a 5-part miniseries, Star Trek: The Last Generation, under the MyrU banner starting this month.

You make a choice in your universe, then in another the other road is taken, making the amount of universes, therefore people, infinite... yes? Therefore, the sales and book potential are endless!!
