My favorite is Ice Bear! Holy Shit, Riker! Run Away From the Ice Bear! by Peter David. Honorable mention to Collectable Plate, Attack of the Tiny Werewolf, and Worf vs. the Pretty Flowers.
Worf just looks so...perturbed, about the pretty flowers.

Curiously, one of those FF books (#4, don't recall the real title) had, as premise, that YOU were the captain of a starship that got sucked into a wormhole and stranded in a foreign galaxy. The name of your starship? You guessed it: Voyager.

Fictitiously yours, Trent Roman

"Picard and Troi do Peyote" :rommie::rommie::rommie:

OH MAN...and THAT one actually seems to take the plot of the book into consideration!!!!

(Granted, I really liked Gulliver's Fugitives. ;) )

Also Unauthorized Star Wars Crossover, and Kirk Bangs McCoy's Daughter. :rommie:

wow, you really DON'T remember the real title do you?

it was actually: Starship Traveller :bolian::rommie:

The hell? I distinctly remember commenting on the odd coincidences of name and plot when ST:VOY was announced.

EDIT: Never mind, I've figured it out. I smuggled these out of the local library when I was a kid, so of course I should have remembered that they were in French. And some googling confirms that the French version did indeed translate the ship's name as Voyageur, which is where my confusion arised. So... nothing to see here, move along.

Wow, those are hilarious thanks for sharing. I just wish I knew more about the non-Trek books. As for favorites, I had two non Trek ones no else mentioned. Internet Culture Is All My Fault and Video Games Can Become Weapons, You Know.

you're Quebecoise(sp)?

Québécois, yes. (An 'e' at the end indicates the person is female ;))

All hilarious. Four Authors is funny for pointing it out and just love the run from the bear Riker tag line.

Has anyone else had their computer do anything weird after they visited the link? After I got back here my computer suddenly jumped to some personal adds site for no reason whatsover. And I always stay very far away from those kinds of sites, so it's not something I've been to in the past, and I've never seen adds for it.

I thought they'd pulled The One Time Chekov Mattered before publication because it wasn't realistic. I loved Another Fucking Dyson Sphere...

Firefox + Noscript = Noshit

the thing i don't get about The One Time Chekov Mattered is that he's not on the cover. isn't that Scotty, Sulu and Kirk?
