Star Trek Book Club

Hello Everyone!

I was wondering if there was a Star Trek Book Club out there...well....somewhere in cyberspace. I remember one that was hosted on WWW.startrek.com a few years back. I participated once, and it was a lot of fun! Please let me know if there are any Star Trek Book Clubs that you've heard of or if not.............then tell me what you're reading.

I guess if there aren't any good star trek book clubs out there, then I will have to start my own...

I think it died out pretty quickly, but a month or two ago some people tried to do a TOS book club. I don't think it really went past one book.

I think it's just too hard to get people committed to all reading together at the same time. Even the most recent releases - because there are always those who get them much sooner than others, and then the general release arrives, and there is the second wave, and then there are the stragglers who come in a month, or two, or three later. I belong on another message board that started a book reading club but it was just sci-fi in general. They did read some Trek together but the club really declined in interest after about 4 or 5 books.
