Join us on October 6 from 6:30PM to 8:30PM to find out more about the creative and technical challenges behind our 2D, 3D, Animation and Effects work on Star Trek Beyond, presented by 2D Supervisors Mike Brazelton and Sebastian Von Overheidt, 3D Sequence Supervisor Rhys Salcombe, Animation Supervisor Nick Symons and FX Supervisor Shaun Roth!

The talk will be followed by a Q&A and networking session with drinks and nibbles with our Show Supervisors, Heads of Departments and Artist Managers.

Beyond's box office is currently $$333,153,686.. US Box office is now updated, it added a surprisingly strong $620,000 from only 508 theaters to the total. I have to find out if Sunday's China total is included. It's guaranteed to make $340 million plus at this point with Japan's total. Tuesday will be my last BO update till the end of October.

Certainly a chance. Beyond made a very steady $15.5 million last week Worldwide. The week before it made about $16 million WW. So even if it falls about 50% this week it will still make $8 million by next Monday. Putting it at nearly $342 million. Japan will make $8-12 million in my opinion, putting it around the $350 million mark.

It's starting to look a little more respectable. 350 million, whilst a disappointment is not chump change for a trek movie. It's certainly not a bomb.

Nope, not a flop, not a bomb. It's important psychologically to get to a certain level because when people go to look it up and say, "let me see what this flop did"..they'll see it almost made as much as ST09.

I love that steelbook so much but I don't want to miss out on special features. Have they announced what to expect on each version of the release?

I was tempted to get the Amazon exclusive for the Franklin model, but I figure Eaglemoss will release one at some point.
