I've noticed that in all of the posters, they are using the old version of the Enterprise, without the swept back pylons. I wonder why? It looked like the older model in the Enterprise Rental commercial too.

Maybe the alien on the bridge of the Enterprise when it is attacked?
^I think she's the alien with a resemblance to Alan Rickman's character in Galaxy Quest, and was in the first two trailers. I watched some of the London premiere live on Facebook, she talked about her makeup application time.
I think it's because the changes to the Enterprise were made fairly late into the film's development (trailer #1's Enterprise is unchanged from the end of Into Darkness), and the posters etc had probably already been designed by then.
