Spoilers STAR TREK BEYOND

I think that shot in the middle where McCoy asked if their ready to go back out might be part of the end sequence, then that one shot of some funky ship and nacelles. Anyone else notice that? It is right after the clip of Kirk,Bones and Spock all in civies looking up at what I assume is a ship. I suppose that could be middle of movie before they rescue crew, but I doubt it.

Epic...

So, they have tunnels that go out to space to launch and recover spaceships???
That's how they can build them on the ground.
<chuckle>

Here is that weird ship shot that is right after the boys shot. That's not the Enterprise is it? Nacelles look too close together.

Looks like a fisheye shot of the current Enterprise to me.

Who knew, the nacelle struts apparently fold inward.
<shrug>

Fantastic visuals. I like this trailer, it's exciting! :techman:

Somehow, to me this gives much more of a sense of being in the future than a lot of other sci-fi out there these days.

Yes, it's at 0:57. I think it's just a funky view of the Enterprise looking back from under the saucer section, right in front of the neck.

Edit: Ninja'd.

That's just the Enterprise shot from an odd angle. The previous shot though I'm sure is from the end of the movie. There was a photo released months ago that appeared to be from that scene and Jaylah was in the background which would obviously be unlikely if the scene was earlier.

It might be a fisheye lens shot. While it's just a stray thought, it kind of makes me think of a nu-Excelsior. Just a stray thought.

It's not only that, it may be the angle but the 09 and ID ship blue caps on the nacelles sat higher than the dish. Weird! Probably just a funky shot of Enterprise I guess.

Yeah. That's the Enterprise (or a ship like her -- I mean, who knows?). Even though it's CGI, the neat thing is "shooting" at angles as if one is really is still pointing a camera and lens at a model.

This trailer makes me happy. It's now 1:10 EDT, but I think I'll watch it a few more times before going to bed.

I have now watched the trailer 10 times. Maybe 10 more is needed before I watch it 10 more after that.
