To be honest, I refuse to believe that Beyond is going to be a failure.
I suppose the date change news is possible, but more likely it is the product of fans who don't like the JJ movies spreading dis-information as they have done before to seed dissent.

Link to Paramount Studio page of release dates.
Release dates haven't changed or alternatively, Paramount hasn't caught up with the rumours yet.
Will check again in the next few days to see if the page gets updated.
That page is from Trek Movie and doesn't reflect the change of date in Brazil either.

Simon Pegg on twitter: "3 days until the new trailer drops and Star Trek Beyond goes boldly out of the darkness". I'm crossing my fingers.
Oh, okay, I get it now.I look at reviews to see what one of the phases of movie reaction is, but I never use them to decide whether I see a movie or not.
It's funny, your post is the exact reason I posted the trekmovie pool a month ago about what fan anticipation was. Everywhere you look the sentiment is that everyone is waiting for the TV show, and the movie is an afterthought, but the reality is that 2/3rds of the fans are anticipating the movie more.

Have you guys seen this? Found it on r/startrek on reddit. Someone apparently saw it on a tweet before it was taken down.
