Spoilers STAR TREK BEYOND

the colors of the pictures are not real, even the trees in that other pic have a blue tone to them. 100% some filter at play here, especially if the pictures are coming from instagram

I'm not sure it is a spaceship but it does look deteriorated to me as well.

Just in case anyone is curious, the crashed Dubai saucer is about half the size of the one on the classic Enterprise. Not that anyone but that 0.001% of superfandom will measure or care :)

Has anybody already noticed it?
You can say that it is something unimportant, but...

Are you presuming that it is another federation ship, but not Constitution class, smaller?

I think we'll find out all of this information when Paramount and Bad Robot are good and ready to tell us.

But no, dollars to donuts, I doubt it's a Constitution-Class vessel.

If it is meant to be the Enterprise or a ship of similar size, I suspect they're just building it smaller to save money. Almost nobody would notice, a massive saucer is a massive saucer. The Enterprise was much smaller over the Riverside Shipyard (to fit nicely the power plant location used) than it was in space in Star Trek '09.

Planetfall ramps? I suspect those 600 Dubai extras will be pouring out in red, blue and gold shirts.

Another photo. It is a shadow, full stop.
Now that we can see some people around the set, we can finally get a good idea of the size of this construction.

The "hatches" look like they drop and slide open back to front. It's the only way I can see them fitting into the saucer.

The cubes with slots on the top sitting on the wooden lattice works look interesting. They are having cylinders put over them. Among all the pictures posted at Trekcore, I count a dozen of the cubes scattered around the area, going to all the way over to the far end of one of the green screens.

That's because they're far away.
The shadows in the foreground are tinted blue/purple too.

I'd love it if this was not a crashed Fed ship, but if it is then my guess is it's the Vengeance. My only reason for that is that I'd be surprised if they crashed yet another starship into a city area like that. Been wrong before though!

Yep. The same poster is hanging on the back of my bedroom door, but with added Sulu and Chekov.

yeah, it's like this one

it's not uncommon to use previous posters as a placeholder when starting to promote the next movie

Very early.

Enter the Talifans with their argument: "They don't even have budget enough to make a new poster! Why didn't Dennis Bailey invest more money? This movie is a failure! Axanar is what REAL Trek fans want!!! BARCODE SCANNERS!!!!"

Talifans? kkkkkk
I liked it.

My guess is that they want to keep details about plot hidden away from everyone, for the time being.

I didn't miss it, I just disagree with your assessment. In my opinion, the the colors in the photo are screwy for reasons other than Rayleigh scattering.

Just on general principles, though, "The buildings in the distance are blue" is not evidence of a photographic issue, because it's exactly what you'd see in real life. And as we've seen in the past, color perception is an unreliable thing. The only thing we can say for sure is that we can't say anything for sure.
