Star Trek: Aurora–Completed!

Wow...just ....wow.

Congrats Tim on a beautiful, perfectly crafted story. I'm sitting here lost for words, really.. You've knocked it out park. A perfect home run on so many levels. Great story, very, very nice visuals, great sound .... I could go on and on gushing.

Tim, this is a great achievement. Congratulations to you and your "crew", everyone that contributed. Damn fine job!

Edit: Somehow got a double post. Must have been the Q2 from the "other" universe!

Damn fine job!

Tim,
This was great to watch and while a completely different perspective of life in the Federation, still felt like Star Trek.
The CGI was really good!
The plot and voice acting were all very good, too!
Very good and impressive production overall!
I hope there are plans for another Star Trek Aurora episode.
What was the application you used to do all of the modelling, texturing and animation?
I am, currently, trying to learn Blender.
Thanks you very much for sharing this here!!! :)

Saw this last night and I loved it...I could watch this weekly and really enjoy it. :)

I just finished watching it. A very nice story and really well done technically.

Congrats on finishing. Thank goodness this was not one of those projects that get dropped part way through. Really enjoyed it, and was refreshed by the style and angle of it.

Great job! What a nice treat. I can tell a lot of work went into this. I read where you were going to do another project, but may return to Aurora in the furture. I hope to see more from you. Thank you!

TOTALLY worth the wait. You've created a moving and worthy addition to the Star Trek canon. And I echo the sentiments of the earlier poster on page 1--would that we all could have a "second chance" like Kara.

Beautifully done, Tim... thank you.

Nice work, like a modern take on the old classic animated series!
I remember seening the first segment of this ages back, and it's great to see the story finished.

Thanks, everyone! I'm glad you enjoyed the conclusion to Aurora. It's been a long time coming, and I know some of you have been following its progress over the years, so I'm glad you liked it.

For those who mentioned they wanted to download the file, the source Quicktime file is downloadable from the Vimeo site (link in the bottom right of the screen).

I'm not sure what I'm doing next, but I do have more Aurora stories in mind, so I'm hoping to be able to do more at some point!

But for now, thanks again for your kind thoughts!
