No. Not at all. And turning it back down to normal makes some narrators sound drunk.

I'm currently listening to The Enterprise War and I have it turned up to 1.10x. It's not too fast and the voice sounds good. I like the narrator. He does do voices and they work well.

What I would like to listen to is an unabridged full cast reading using the cast of the show.

Nowadays, computers can compensate for that so the pitch remains normal no matter how much you fast-forward.
