I have been watching, and re-re-re-rewatching The History Channel DVD program "Failure is Not An Option."
If any of the younger fans out there want to understand the excitement of the original series, you must see this documentary on NASA. It was such a special time in American history.
And the documentary has images more incredibly beautiful, more incredibly amazing, than any CGI.
And the drama is all real.
If you were not alive during Apollo, you do not "get" the original series.
I'm sorry, but I am honestly in tears -- I am crying -- I really am -- over the images and real human drama in this documentary.
Sorry to be so emotional, but I wanted to share.
