Not true. Most movies see an increase on Tuesdays. These are the Monday to Tuesday percentage changes for the Top 10:
Trek: -13.3%
Wolverine: -4.1%
GoGP: +11%
Obsessed: -0.5%
Soloist: +7%
NextDayAir: -16.5%
Earth +26.4%
17 Again +14.8%
MvsA +3.2%
Fighting -0.3%

It'll make it past $200 million domestic by the time it's pulled from the last theaters where it'll still be playing.
I consider that to be a great Tuesday... not that much of a decrease since Monday and more money than Wolverine made the same time last week.
It looks to be over $100m in a couple of days which is the first time since the 80's that Star Trek has done that so lets keep it in perspective!

Very positive numbers. Well i am going to continue to post Trek movie comparison at the box office and we can see how high Star Trek XI can go. I will add Monday and Tuesday numbers and here it stand now. Star Trek has surpassed The Final Frontier in domestic and worldwide gross. No new numbers on foreign gross jet.
