What are you going to do to celebrate the 51st Anniversary of Star Trek next year?

I'll probably watch Star Trek(duh). Wear my communicator to work. Hopefully finish my cgi model of the Enterprise.

I'm hoping for some TV specials, maybe some new books. And a new Star Trek series.

Rewatch the second season on the 50th anniversaries of the episodes' original airdates.

Since my fiftieth anniversary celebration is already a mishmash of all three TOS seasons, I'm not sure what I will do for the fifty-first. Maybe I should have thought this through a little better.

The delayed gratification of airdate rewatches has its advantages...I'll be enjoying the 50th anniversary of Trek's entire run as it unfolded. Plenty of other crap to watch during the gaps.

Forgive CBS for screwing up and claiming it's Star Trek's 50th anniversary - as long as they do something really cool for it LIKE THEY SHOULD HAVE *THIS* YEAR.
